When you’re down visiting your fruit tree, why not make a day of it? There are many attractions in the local area. West Kent and East Sussex offer a great variety of interesting places to see and wonderful walks. We are a stone’s throw away from Royal Tunbridge Wells, which boasts the historic Pantiles as well as an array of shops and restaurants.
Historical attractions (view with Google maps) such as Hever, Bodiam and Leeds Castles are all within driving distance, as well a plethora of stately homes and gardens including Sissinghurst Gardens and Castle, Knole House, Penshurst Place, Chiddingstone Castle or Scotney Castle. You can visit the magnificent Ashdown Forest (home of Winnie-the-Pooh’s 100 Acre Wood), or visit Rudyard Kipling’s home at Batemans. Other attractions in the area include Brands Hatch and The Hop Farm.
